1. General information
Walters Service AS carries out grinding services through orders placed on www.macuwa.com . Walters Service AS also collects scissors and knives from customers in Kristiansand S and the surrounding area for larger quantities, grinds them and returns them to the customer. Customers can also send scissors and knives for grinding through our scissors and knives mail-in system.
2. Scope of these terms and conditions
The following general terms and conditions apply to all contractual relationships entered into with Walters Service AS on the website saksesliping.no.
3. Ordering services
All services offered by Walters Service AS represent a non-binding order request from the customer.
If you wish to order one or more services from Walters Service AS, you must fill out an order form with the required information.
o The ordering process is completed by the customer using the “Submit order” button.
o This step represents the customer's intention to enter into an agreement, which Walters Service AS can accept during the stated opening hours.
Walters Service AS confirms the order by sending a confirmation email.
Walters Service AS archives the agreement and sends the order details and contract terms to the customer by email. Walters Service AS enables the customer to review and save the contract terms in a reproducible format if and when the agreement is concluded.
4. Conditions for prices, payment and delivery
The prices indicated at the time of ordering apply.
Walters Service AS accepts all payment methods listed on the website; this currently includes Klarna, Vipps and invoice. If the service is paid in advance when ordering, the amount will be reserved on the chosen payment method until the service is performed or the order is completed.
The service will be carried out within the agreed time as confirmed in the contract. When ordering the grinding service from Walters Service AS by mail, the shipping envelope is usually sent the same working day if the order is placed before 2 p.m., or the following working day if the order is placed after 2 p.m.
When ordering scissors or knife sharpening on the website, you can choose between insured or uninsured shipping.
o You pay for insured shipping. The shipping conditions of the shipping service provider apply.
o In the case of free shipping, Walters Service AS accepts no liability for damage and/or loss caused by the shipping service provider. The shipping conditions of the shipping service provider also apply here.
5. The service is deemed to have been provided when the customer has received back the cutting tools sent in. If the customer has a complaint about the work, he can submit a complaint, see point 7.
5. Cancellation policy
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email:

CONSEQUENCES OF REVOCATION
If you cancel this contract, we must refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs, promptly and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your cancellation notice. The refund will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed. No fee will be charged for this transaction.
If you have requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you will have to pay us an amount corresponding to the services provided up to the moment you notified us of your wish to exercise the right of withdrawal from this contract. This amount will represent the pro rata value of the total services provided for this contract.
6. Liability
Walters Service AS is only liable to customers and suppliers in the event of intent or gross negligence. This also applies to damage to the body or health and is the result of gross negligence or intent. Walters Service AS is only liable for material and economic damage caused by gross negligence and intent if Walters Service AS has breached a material contractual obligation, but only to the extent that foreseeable and typical contractual damage existed at the time the contract was concluded. Material contractual obligations are obligations that characterize the fulfillment of the contract, as is the case for customers and suppliers. The customer's statutory warranty claims are not affected by these limitations of liability.
7. Handling of complaints
Walters Service AS will handle complaints in accordance with professional standards. If the customer wishes to submit a complaint, he can do so using the communication means and addresses/numbers mentioned above or verbally. Timely processing is guaranteed.

8. Dispute settlement
Complaints must be sent to the seller within a reasonable time, see point 7. The parties should try to settle any dispute amicably. If this fails, the buyer can contact the Consumer Protection Agency for mediation. The Consumer Protection Agency can be reached by telephone at 23 400 600. The European Commission's Complaints Platform can also be used if you want to submit a complaint. This is especially relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country.
